Susan Winters, an American attorney, and her husband Gregory Brent Dennis, Henderson psychologist married in August 1995 and they have blessed two beautiful daughters. Susan loved her daughters very much. Their daughters stood by their father Brett and believed that Susan had killed herself.

On Jan. 3, 2015, Susan was found of antifreeze poisoning on her bed. Brett called 911 to report his wife was unresponsive. Gregory said to the police that he and Susan had been fighting the night before, and Susan was suicidal and on anti-depressant medication. She was sleeping at around 6 PM.
Authorities said that Susan’s death is a suicide and stated she died of a combination of ethylene glycol poisoning and oxycodone intoxication. Susan’s parents Danny and Avis Winters were not sure about her sucide and they hired a private investigator and an attorney and opened the case.
In February 2017 Brett was arrested, and in May 2022 the judge sentence him to “serve three to 10 years in prison for voluntary manslaughter in connection with the 2015 death of his wife.”
Now Brett serving at the Southern Desert Correctional Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, and will be eligible for parole in 2025.
